As some of you may know, the California Building Performance Contractors Association’s HERS Provider role and the related Third Party Quality Control Program role of Enalasys Corporation have not yet been recertified for 2010 by the California Energy Commission. We want to assure you as a valued member or associate of the CBPCA community that this is a temporary situation due solely to the delayed delivery of our advanced new HERS Registry database management system to us for approval by the CEC.

We expect this matter to be resolved by mid April, and we are working with the CEC to expedite our recertification with as little disruption as possible to our rater and contractor affiliates and their customers. Jobs permitted prior to January 1, 2010 will not be affected at all, and any verifications required at a 1:7 ratio instead of the usual 1:30 will not involve additional cost to our participating raters, contractors, and clients.
